Treptower Platz Germany

I had seen some photos of this structure when I was looking to book my accommodation  for BerlinAnd I loved the look of these, so got on a bicycle and rode down to check it out kneeling Russian soldier the russians lost an immense amount of soldiers in WW2, and a huge umber during the end stages of the battle for Berlin
So a lot of souls have been laid to rest hereThen this park was part of the strong symbolism during the communist rule and this statue is just great Russian soldier holding a Berlin child, sword in one hand and foot on a destroyed swastika, strong symbolism that the communists were into back in those days and these 2 murals really depict the horror and suffering of war

Get of flight in Brussels, get car, drive 8 hours and voila, Berlin
