Head for the hills

After our short stay at surfers and my accidental long surf, we head for the hills behind surfers, never been there, the hinterlands, the "green behind the gold " as the locals here call it, anyway so here's a pic of hot rod and my car, my girl leaning on the hot rod the rental car company gave me, only in Brisbane and Perth 🙂
Anyway, so here we are at Mt Tamborine, very pretty, just checked out some wineries and cheese factory ( yummy ) and now we fgo a little walk in the bushrainforest, awesome canopy

home of the glow worms, so no swimming allowed as their environment is very fragile and easily disturbed lovely world famous penis tree 🙂 sunset at this amazing look out, except the trees have grown back 🙂
couldn't believe so many of the paces were booked out for dinner, but then we founf the greek place, and what a feast, yum, this was a platter for 2, and we could not finish it, and yes we were hungry. The plate looks rather small in this photo, but it is big oval shaped plate, and yummy
