Malibels Country Cottages, Bellingen

How now brown cow. As soon as we get back it was get a few things done, and then prepare to go on another trip. I like to check up on my house in Bowraville every year, so we turned it into a mini road trip and took the kid sout of school for one day and made it a long weekend for them. on the road from Bowraville to Bellingen a few years ago , we spotted this cute farm with cottages, at the time and in the past they were booked out, but as this time was a little out of peak season we got ourselves in. Only downside was though that the road from Bowraville got washed away in heavy rain a few years ago, so we had to come in via Bellingen. And that's the only negative, this place was great, lots of paddocks to walk around in very lush the property backs onto the state forest where these beautiful flooded gums are growing the kids loved it punk nose ring, well not really, it is a way of weening the calfs of their mothers milk, because everytime the calf goes to go for the udder, mother calf gets this spikey nose ring, she ain't interested and shoos the calf away
where there's a farm there's a loyal farm dog ! back to our cottage we head
the cottages, ours was the middle one, but we were the only ones staying the whole week end , so we had the place all to ourselves, awesome
