Last day in the “low” country as we head to Buller

We pass a famous look out, so we take the turn off and 6 km gravel road to get to this amazing look out .. .. .. except we are in a cloud today _JAC9325SonnyPhotos Powers look out, normally you would see a few snow covered mountains, like Hotham etc… _JAC9328SonnyPhotos

yummy _JAC9332SonnyPhotos at the base of Buller mountain all very green and raining outside ( we want it to be white and snowing outside ) _JAC9339SonnyPhotos After a short drive up the mountain, and then all this kerfuffle with having to unload your bags on the roof of a 4WD, and crammed in the back  like a pack of cows of the 4WD ( oh and yeah, you pay a small fortune for this privilge, have not seen Go Back To Where You Came From, but feeling a small moment of this ) We arrive at our lodge for the night, and yes, the mountain is covered in snow, although a thin cover, all that warm weather last week melted a lot of the snow _JAC9347SonnyPhotos looks pretty, hope we get some blue sky while here _JAC9345SonnyPhotos our luxury room with a view _JAC9346SonnyPhotos room with a view _JAC9347SonnyPhotos
