Again, fresh air. Her third year collection used a lot of velvet and carpet with dark colours, so was nice and refreshing to see this collection called Misstanbul ( as in she misses Istanbul ) She was inspired by watching tradesmen make and colour tiles in this old village which back in the days of the Ottoman Empire was a capital city ( sorry , but the name escapes me right now )
She tried to make this with tiles originally, but as you can imagine, it was too heavy.So instead she made it out of wood, but you can't tell, as it does look like tiles
So she did all the prints on the fabric as well " A to Z "
