Ubud and its Rice Paddies

Kanto Lampo waterfall on our way to Ubud, looked nice enough in the photo to visit but this is the reality, we got out of there quick smart lining up so they could get this shot manneke pis 🙂 reached our destination and we have ducks to welcome us Santris Villas ducks we go for a wander on sunset time to explore out neigbourhood Pretty entrance bird songs love all the ducks and water birds in our backyard so many drying weather neighbours as the rice fields are being plowed, the birds take advantage love these flowers, reminds me of Tahiti breakfast view and brekky time for these guys too little rascals in Ubud, luckily not near our villas in the rice fileds still can not get over the cables here electiricans nightmare entrance took this photo, as the right looks like it could be in Surry Hills/Darlinghurst, but then add the coconut tree and it’s not 🙂 the rice fieldsof Tegallalang a short 10min drive from our villa we decided to come here close to sunset time as it gets pretty crowded during the day with all the day trippers coming up from Legianso pretty and then all the bars and cafes at the top overlooking the valley of rice paddies spotted with her Pentax can imagine how long these have been here for as well well trodden path is she showing off her legs ? nasi goreng in the making sunset glad we came this time of the day, so quite, just about have the place to ourselves

Loving this Bali tour Jacqui has planned, finished our stay in Candi Dasa and now she planned our next stay in a lovely villa out in the rice fields
