Short flight turns into slightly longer flight due to rain squall hitting Sydney

Beautiful day in Brisbane Flying Roo ready to push back take off low tide patterns at Nudgee Beach Moreton Island Big Sandhills and Little Sandhills Moreton Island love the drifting sand patterns in the clear blue waters love it Crab Island of Kooringal, Moreton Island Channels and gutters between Moreton and North Stradbroke Islands Rainbow Channel of Amity, North Stradbroke Island North Stradboke Islandzoom in, place I would like to visit more often, Cylinder Beach, when this is on, it is a most incredible wave, but can be a bit sharky, last time I surfed here a turtle the size of a VW swam past me love Macleay, Garden & Coochiemudlo Islands Cleveland Point Point Halloran conservation area, Victoria Point and Redland Bay Logan River and you can spot the prawn farms along rhe river Stretch of Gold Coast up to Tweed Heads zoom in, Goldie aka Surfers Paradise and Tweed headsthen the storm clouds start lotof rain down there pilot is navigating around the many storms dotted on our path hope the rain is going where it is needed so many storms and then a few little breaks banking around another storm other side probably west of Grafton somewhere looks impressive flying around another one to see another one there's a rainbow under that one Stratford and Stratford coal mine Forster Seal Rocks at the top, Myall Lake and Buladelah Stroud Alworth and Karuah RiverWorimi National Park aka Stockton Beach and Sand dunes Williamtown base aka Newcastle Airport, which has a RAAF base there Ferodale Lake and Fullerton Cove and long Stockton Beach North and South Channel of the Hunter River then flowing out to sea at Newcastle I just love this place, been here quite a few times now another look at Newcastle airport don't usually take this flight path from Brisbane to Sydney, usually flying over Musselbrook, Singleton area and out to Hornsby, today, flying over Newcastle and out to the ocean as I suspect that storm I saw out west of Sydney on my earlier flight form Melbourne to Sydney, is hitting Sydney now and that's why they are taking this route instead so great to see to go a slightly different path, enabling me to get some different shots, like this great shot of Newcastle and it's beaches Kooragang and Mayfield Kooragang Coal storage, coal from upper Hunter region, waiting to be shipped to China and or Japan last look at the great Stockton beach up to Anna Bay and then head out to the ocean and very different now at lower altitude we are now just off the coast of the northern beaches, just looping around banking turn after banking turn Sydney somewhere in that dark void banking again and again after about 35 minutes, Captain finally decides to go in for landing , Cordeaux DamBingara Gorge and Wilton Airport ( Sydney skydive center ) Annan and Western Sydney University Badgerys creek zoom in, the new Sydney airport construction site and a very gloomy looking Sydney, Woodford Bay Saint Ignatius College Riverview Sydney Harbour, Parramatta river CBD landed reverse thrustthe rather different flight path as per the usual Brisbane - Sydney flight take off from Brisbane slow arching turn Hunter Region Stockton Beach the loops of the coast of Sydney final approach close up of those last 40 minutes of flying satellite from the afternoon during the flight can see all the storms and the storm hitting Sydney region
