Welcome to the sunset stripSo I am at a little town called Sunset Strip which sits on Menindee Lake,  which is roughly about 40 km wide and 30 deep, and has been dry for quite a few years this is normally a lake, I would be a few feet deep here normally all that space beyond usually a lake, so you can imagine the bird life dry lake looking back towards the town this would have been the foreshore now I'm about to bore you with about 50 photos of the houses on the foreshore, consider this a google earth street view drive through or an add for corrugated iron mixed with color bond normally you would see water between the houses spot the spider and then the opposite going back yep !! tennis anyone and again, all behind would normally be a lake.
N.B. update, the darling river has been flowing so they opened up the gates and the lake after gawd knows how many years is finally filling up againworth the trip
