After landing in a helicopter ( we were a bit conscious of other guests thinking who are these pretentious people rocking up in a helicopter ) we were instead greeted with the warmest welcome

Sunny, yes, that's right, another Sunny, Caroline, Zippy and, even though every single staff knows your name, I forgot the receptionist ladies name, ooops, make us feel welcome straight of the bat, love it

as our ride prepares to head back

walking to our room

loving the colours here already

relax time

there are quite a few bure's with their own swimming pool

and all have a hammock

never get sick of a view like this

my soon to be reading space at our own little pool

Island life

so many coconuts around

they have a spa treatment as well

have not put the camera down yet

all changes when the sun comes out again and colours intensify

Fijian people are such happy people and always keen top break out a song

yes

and who doesn't love an outdoor shower

all of these bure are facing the sunset, but in that department, as you can not predict them, I was not lucky to get one of those killer sunset shots

oh, and no T.V. in any of the rooms, so all these outdoor chill areas are just perfect to pass the time reading a book before dinner or happy hour :-)

As well as the private pools they recently got a new resort pool

rain and sunset

I want one

Island life

Wadig Island

Dusk

sunset from our pool

Jacqui waiting for me to paddle to her on stand up paddle board
