Road trip up along to the mid north coast

sunrise about 180 or so km north from Sydney was really cold this morning very serene looking landscape sun is already warming me up again another 150 km or so , and I get to Port Macquirie, instead of continuing along highway, I take a scenic detour, and take a ferry across the Hastings river to take the 4wd track to Crescent head and it is rewarding ( and bumpy ) to then get to scenes like this, totally empty beaches Port Macquirie in the distance I guy out surfing Queen’s Head south of Point Plomer the track, 4wd only  Queens head beach Big Hil Point very small waves, seems to happen all the time when I head north flat flat, and Delicate Nobby head rocks  racecourse head was hoping to get to see some waves on this right hand point break Crescent head in the distance lines coming in at racecourse, just only 1/2 a foot though might have to come back here again
