The big Colosseum at the entrance to the city I thought this would one of those “museum’ that you visit it is so much more than that you are transported back in time entering a city the way it was, just about, 2000 odd years ago covered in ash for nearly 2000 years the layout, design, even these paths of this city, incredible cemetries they restored the vineyards and olive groves the way they would have been grown back then history everywhere all around you the detail on the ceiling, miraculously preserved bath house the rendering is like 5cm thick just look at their streets, incredible ha, that’s Mt Vesuvius, and the cloud is making it look like the volcano is alive see the sunflower in the black frame after that, just outside in the Plaza Silencio.
We spent a good 3 hours walking around and did not even see half of it
