Loving the look on Indy’s face, the focus, love that, she wants that wave. “Paddle harder” I shout from the water.Aaaah, I missed this one, I was too close in. Indy just turned off this one as it fattened out… Paddle , Paddle , Paddle! Too far out on the shoulder, won’t get it. Indy’s is having a bit of a tough time out here. For one, she is not familiar with this spot and second, right now the tide is shifting and there is a strong rip going through the take off spot. I’m trying to stay in position with the water camera, without a board, basically just swimming, put the rip is pulling me around as well. So when Indy does get a good wave for me to shoot, I was either too far or too close. (In other words, I should leave the professional water photography to the professional water photographers, hey Nathan Smith?) Still, we have fun.
It is a very clear clean day today. Just a lot of water moving around.
After a lot of paddling and duckdiving, we are back in the car park, assessing what went wrong and checking the line upAnd, if you are surf wise, you can see the rip. That’s what went wrong, but we had fun anyway!
Out in the surf Indy was wearing Rip Curl Mirage Shimmer Revo Bikini and Rip Curl Mirage 2″ Elastic board shorts.
