The event was held upstairs in the Elephant bar at the Royal hotel in paddington and what a view, great place for a drink Danielle let me slip in "backstage" quickly to snap a few shots This is runner up winner Hannah Canham from RMIT And here we have model Leila ( worked with Leila several times, awesome model !! ) wearing the winner's outfit. Also from RMIT, Talisa Trantino another shot, this time with flash ( yes, I know, photos aren't up to my usual standard, but this was a social affair and I did not want to take all my "gear" so used my little happy snappy camera :-)  best looking backstage :-) And the winners for 2013/14 are Melbourne based RMIT womenswear design graduate Talisa Trantino and Sydney based Whitehouse graduate Amie Jones, who is a creative director/graphic designer/stylist/photographerWinner Talissa and model Leila, with Malcolm Carfrae from Calvin Klein in the background making the announcement. Must be said, Malcolm is the co-founder of the Australian Fashion Foundation , and together with Woolmark this event would not be possible, and I fully support anyone who has the means and then puts some if back in the industry to help new young emerging talent, as it would be a very difficult environment once you have graduated to get noticed in the big world and I regularly bump into previous winner Georgie in New York, who know, thanks to AUSFF has a full time job on the design team at Calvin Klein, a dream job for many.
