Just as we approach Warren, I spot these wetlands. And after all the vastness of dry shrubs, nice to this patch of water
Turns out they always used to be here, untill the White man arrived , irrigating the water for farming and drying up the wetland, which was important for a lot of birdlife species. From what I can see, they started a program back in the late 1990's to get it back to what it is now 
on the other side of town, this was propably the cause of it all. Cotton farming ( needs a lot of water )
