Narita as opposed to Singapore

So, little dilemma with my British Airways flight out of Sydney last night, got to the airport, and was a something different about the check in que at B.A., cut a long story short, the "severe" weather in London has caused a back log, and my flight for tonight is postponed till tomorrow morning ( that's no good as have to get to Milan for the shows ) so unlike the other sheep I don't go in the que for re booking of flight and getting hotel voucher etc… Being a frequent flyer I elevated to gold status, so thought about time to see if this will help me out, and yes, the wonderful people at Qantas ( even though it was a BA ticket ) put me on one of their flights to Tokyo were I could get on a BA flight to London. So thank you to the lady at the Qantas ticketing counter, you very helpful and quick ! So now here I am at Narita at 6 am and everything is closed till 8pm, shops, lounges, ticketing counters, everything, thank gawd I downloaded some John Stewart Daily show episodes for me to catch up on, as I will be here till 11am.
N.B. once the lounge opened, man was there internet fast, managed to upload all the photos for the next issue of Qvest which will have about 8-10 pages of my backstage photos in it, normally that would take several hours to upload those high res pics to their server in Germany, but this took less than 30 min, nice
