Before jetting off again, time for another walk with Jacqui and kids, and this time it is the head land at Long Reef, and right on low tide
The beauty of the low tide part, is that we should be able to walk out to the little rocky outcrop on the end. There are no waves to speak off ( I guess I would be surfing otherwise ) which will make this even easier to cross the narrow path of rocky reef
That's the headland behind us, and yes, we must haste a little as the sun is about to set behind the headland
beautiful light Made it ,and what a gorgeous light, last rays coming across the headland
I was claiming this to be the most easterly point of the Northern Beaches, but I think Jacqui might be right ( she didn't think it was ) having consulted google earth it looks like Newport Reef might get that claim
walking back in the shadow of the headland, starting to get cold too
what a nice calm afternoon
