One of the first things I did , is complete this walk around the Joey. We had a go at it back in August but ran out of time attempted it again on my last day , but it did not happen, so today's the day
Off we go, but this time we start on the eastern end, as opposed to the western end
The girls with Palm beach in the background
Jacqui, running up that hill
Some impressive rocks and shapes around here
Made it to the most easterly point and the most North Easterly point of the northern beaches, shot this with a super wide angle, so it flattens the headland a bit, as it is a lot higher than how you see it in this photo
A drink at the most N.E. point of the peninsula
So we came from the left of the photo, and now will continue around the headland by going to the right and all the way around
Off we go , Jac's is a bit cautious , as she has been told by many the last few weeks, that it was impossible to walk around the headland ( I strongly disagreed, as I knew my dad did it a long time ago )
The girls are doing such a great job, not easy with their short little legs
Some great rock formations shapes and erosions
You can just see Lion Island in the back
From sandstone to the these big black rocks
Evan trying to get a rock ride to Lion Island
Stick in rock, or , driftwood in rock
Yeay, made it back round to the track on the western side, so back on the land side of the headland
And there are 2 houses tucked away in the bush here, totally surrounded by bush and looking west out over pittwater, great spot
I could live here, no problem
Great view over the water
Yeay, we did it, 4 hours later and back where we started, good walk, we deserve and ice cream now
