So my flight from Singapore is to Heathrow, and then from Heathrow connecting flight to Brussels, but somewhere over Denmark/Germany we already started descending. I thought that was odd, then the captain gets on and explains that there is too much fog in London,so instead of doing circles above London waiting for fog to clear we will land at Brussels to re-fuel, cool I thought, but not cool at all, as I was not allowed to get off ( boring) so I had to sit here and watch the terminal that is my end destination
An hour later and we are still sitting here, with no service mind you ( no food or drinks allowed ) and the entertainment system turned off ( boring ) Wondering if I should chuck a spaz to get thrown of the plane, then at least I don;t have to just sit here. Just so frustrating knowing this is where you got to go , but instead you are waiting for the fog to clear in London ( which could take forever ) so I can catch a flight back here ( yes, sounds ridiculous doesn’t it ) Oh, the reason I can’t ? Because Qantas does not have a commercial license/agreement with Brussels airport, so they are not allowed to drop of passengers, erm…get one
Another 40 mins has passed, finished reading my book at least , but getting real fidgety now
Total of 3 hours has passed now, and just watching gate one, that’s where i would catch my flight from if I was going to New York, that’s the plane there for the 10 am flight I think
