Major bushfires in the blue mountains at the moment, everywhere you go it just smells of smoke, and there's a thick haze hanging over the whole area, plus it is like 40 degrees, luckily I'm used to this dry heat from Dubai, but everybody else is like " It's so hot "

So normally that would be a perfect blue sky day, only good thing about this is that the surf today is perfect, nice glassy conditions, had an awesome surf out there today, really crystal clear water, no wind so the surface of the waves rolling in were like moving gliding mirrors, was such a great feeling to be on my board riding these flowing mercury like waves, awesome, but not so good for the firefighters in the mountains today, with this heat, must be hell up there.
