after a bit of a horror trip from Paris ( we arrived in Bordeaux at 01:30 am to find out they had given our assigned room to another guest, but not notified us ) so here we are many hours and km later on our way to Cases Noves but stopping of for lunch on the way in the mountains at Casa Pinetnew bend same road, took a photo here with the kids on our Europe Road trip back in 2010After an early lunch at Casa Pinet we check in to our favourite hotel in Spain, Cases Noves at El Castel De Guadalest. Views from our room with the 400mmlittle outcrop tree growing on rocky outcropafter check in we head up to the castle for that amazing view of the lake below, that colour !!never gets old and I can spot kayaks way down there on the bottom on the left, potentially a hire a kayak situation, put me down shoes off, slippery pebbles love zoom in on the clouds ( temperature inversion ) rolling over from the seasidedid not take any photos ( well I did with the phone, but it was so crowded, not bother to publish them ) after our afternoon visit to the waterfalls at Algar back at the hotel, refreshed and a drink before dinner. We love going to the Las Fuentes del Algar, here we are with the kids back in 2014Dinner time, it used to be at Cases Noves, but the owners took over one of the restaurants in the village, so dinner is now there ( don't worry, their yummy breakfast is still at the hotel ) and only a short stroll from the hotelthe strollstroll back to hotel after dinnernext day, seeing as I saw those kayaks from the castle view, we head down and rent the kayaks for a paddle on this beautiful colour lake (dam) and I reckon that spot on the right is where we went swimming once before all those years ago, including giving our self a clay mud treatment ( bad idea ) so lovely, quite a few fish and even saw some turtles great swimming spot, nice and refreshingdrive around the lakepretty can just see the kayaks on the beach where we just were ( insert that sound ) ...kiddingafter talking about coming here over the past 5 years it is sad to be leaving again, so soonbut like the first time, we will be back
