Decided last minute to fly up for the day to Gold Coast so I can surf Snapper

Early bird gets the worm sunrise over Avalon let's go Sydney Qantas domestic ready to go  Botany Bay Port nice calm morning La Perouse South Sydney Beaches Can just spot Balmoral beach and Manly Beach then looking up the harbour at the massive Sydney Cosmopolitan area Manly and Fairlight beaches aaah, and the Northern Beaches of course home :-)Tallow Beach and Kilcare beaches with Box Head and Umina Broken Bay, separating Sydney from Central coast Avoca Beach and Terrigal Beaches Pelican , Soldiers, Norah Head and Toukley Budgewoi and Bird Island Catherine Hill Bay ( was there not so long ago taking some location photosCaves Beach, where my brother lives  And Swansea heads, entrance to Lake Macquirie Long stretch of beach up to Red Head Where the Hunter river and Williams rivers meet then we track inland a bit 30 min or so later , coming closer to coast line again, can just see the town of Grafton in between the clouds Ulmarra on the Clarence River Sandy Creek and Bungawalbin Creek running into the Richmond River near Corakilot of rain up here to, hence Richmond River looking so Brown and the Clarence river in earlier photo Coraki on the Richmond River Ruthven and Tucki Tucki on the Wilsons River yep, bit of flooding but then when you get closer to the foothills of Mt Warning, brown turns to green That'be Mt Warning under those clouds Brunswick Heads Hastings Point and Cabarita Kingscliff And now I can why I came up here, Snapper on the far right. Left we have Cook Island of Fingal head, and the Tweed River , and you are pretty looking at the NSW/Queensland Borderzoom out, to show the hinterland, where it is raining and look at that circle of discolouration from all the rainwater coming out into the oceanlooking straight at the back of Snapper, and yeah, the water will not be clear out there today going along the coastline, looking up Currumbin Creek Currumbin point break, also looking pretty brown, and cross shore, but Snapper will be off shore as it sticks out more landed, and the boys waiting for engine shut down flight track from flightaware and satellite pic of the daycloser look at the landing approach
