Gone are the days when the photographers backstage all came from a strong background of editorial/fashion photography, where as these days anyone with a camera is a backstage photographer, which then in turn introduces more of this paparazzi style photography, or rather the ambience becomes that more of a papparazzi set up, and you guessed it...I hate it, wish half these guys would just piss off.
Eddy and I were feeling a bit loney. It used to be me and Eddy joined by such talents as Chris Colls, Derek Henderson, Annabelle, Kane Skennar, Simon Lekias, Pierre Toussaint, Dan Whitford, plus many more have come through the backstage area, but all were already establsihed photographers in fashion editorial, so they understood fashion, knew the models and make up artists. So I guess the respect is gone, and it becomes more about getting the shot to get paid
