I just love the detail in old buildings, it just looks so refined . Nowadays everything just seems to be framework and then covered up with a sheet of plaster

They just don't make staircases like this anymore...why..because it is too expensive they say, I say no, because other people were trying to make a quicker, bigger buck for less work, and less cost on material

I hope the future manages to preserve and maintain all these beautiful old buildings and not let them rot away because some redeveloper can see a bigger buck in letting it rot away , to then knock it down to put up plaster framed sardine boxes. Death to property developers, hail to restoration craftsmen
