First time I'm without my hat, been wearing it solid for about 4 months, I was invited by Laura to the Diesel after show dinner at Cuba De Asia restaurant at Morgans hotel on madison. I was there for about 30 minutes, big table, about 30 people, so , with drink in hand I was just doing the rounds around the table, saying hello to everyone, catching up with Els from Glamit, Catherine from Knack, when the manager comes up to me, and asks me to remove my hat, as it is thier policy, serioulsy, I was looking for the hiden cameras, as it came from nowhere, I mean , the big black doorman opened the door for me, a host takes me to the table, and then 30 minutes later I'm asked to remove my hat ??? I kind of ignored him politly, adding that I been running aroudn the city all day, been a warm day so if I remove my hat I will look a bit messy " I'm sure you will look fine , Sir "cut a long story short, the big burly doorman came round aroudn as well to flex his muscle, now remember we are in a restaurant, not a nightclub, so he comes to tell me the hat has to go , at this stage Laura comes over to ask to speak to the manager,and Laura motions to me not to worry and she will sort it out, by now,obviously I have the attention of the whole table, and they all want to know what is going on; "your hat ? " was the reply. After 5 min, Laura came to me defeated, with the burly black dude and a whimpering manager in the background, "I'm sorry sir, I still want you to have a good night, and I even had to ask Puffy to remove his hat " I'm like "Puffy" or "Buffy " no as in P-diddy. so yeah, here a pic of me with my hat, feeling rather humiliated, but then I have extra attention from the staff, the manager tells me drinks are on the house.

Laura, what did you tell the manager and doorman " oh, just that you are a famous Europeanrock star"
